Job Description: Canadian Volunteer Needed to work in a Small, First Nations, Community in the Northwest Territories of Canada. The position would be in the community of Wrigley and would involve working as a tutor and teaching assistant in the community school. This is an extremely challenging position as the community suffers from a variety of social problems with alcoholism and drug abuse being very wide spread.

Job Details: The position would start shortly after the New Year and continue for the remainder of the school year which is the end of June. Frontiers Foundation would cover all of the volunteers travel costs within Canada, all food and living expenses, and provide a living allowance of $50 a week. Frontiers Foundation is a federally chatered non-profit charity that recruits volunteers from throughout the world to come to Canada and work as tutors and teaching assistants in First Nations communities in the north of Canada. Our programme works around the school year and volunteers would be expected to work on the project from early September through to the end of June. Frontiers Foundation covers the volunteers travel within Canada along with their food and living expenses while they are volunteering on the project.
